A-39. Limited planning time forces leaders to prioritize their terrain analyses. For
example, in the conduct of attacks, leaders might prioritize the areas immediately around their objective for analysis, followed by the platoon’s specific axis leading to the objective. Given more time, they might analyze the remainder of their platoons area of operation and area of interest.
