E-42. Mission Command Systems provide real-time situational awareness of both enemy and friendly positions. It enables leaders and Soldiers to receive process and distribute information products in real time. Stryker platoons and squads have a variety of systems to communicate directly within and outside the platoon. These are mounted on the ICV and carried by Soldiers. The platoon can monitor and transmit on the company and platoon radio nets. The forward observer transmits on the fires net.
