H-25. The breach force must be allocated enough maneuver forces to provide additional suppression against various threats, including:
- Enemy direct-fire systems that cannot be observed and suppressed by the support force due to the terrain or the masking of the support force’s fires by the breach force as it moves forward to reduce the obstacle.
- Counterattacking and or repositioning forces that cannot be engaged by the support force.
