Step 4 – Initiate Movement

2-101. Leaders initiate movements necessary to continue mission preparation or to posture the unit for starting the mission. This step can be executed anytime throughout the sequence of the TLP. It can include movement to a tactical assembly area (TAA), battle position, attack position, or new AO, or the movement of guides or quartering parties. (See chapter 6 section VIII for additional information on troop movement.)
